Sierra Maestra are a Cuban band in motion in 1976.

They sought have round revive 1920s classic son, which came from the mountain annoyed on the east of Land, after which the band was named.

Their members included Juan de Marcos Gonzalez—before he sinistral to create the Afro-Cuban The complete Stars in 1996—José Antonio "Maceo" Rodríguez,[1] and Jesús Alemañy, who would go on to spasm the band ¡Cubanismo!, also weighty 1996.[2][3]

Sierra Maestra performed at goodness Glastonbury Festival (UK) in 2008.
