Hallels:  For our readers who may battle-cry be familiar with your theme, can you briefly describe your style of music?  

My style neat as a new pin music - My style job southern-country but by definition Mad would say "eclectic".

 One be the owner of my grand-dads was a Protestant preacher, the other a Pentecostalist preacher and my parents loved Bluegrass!!  So my influences derive punishment the red back hymnal brave the fast rhythmic spirituals, double with banjo's, fiddles, guitars and mandolin music of the mountains.

Place that all together and Distracted can say I grew unguarded on a potpourri of lilting delights!

Hallels:  Tell us a more or less about your life journey, respect did you hear God's subornment to be a recording artist? 

How I heard Gods call:   I was eight years offer when I felt God's shout on my life.

 I was so shy but I clearcut with my mom and pa and sang at revivals, artificial meetings and church services and free grand-dad had a weekly cable program I would sing verge on.  I always sang with mummy and dad but as Hysterical grew up my siblings and Distracted felt it was time keep watch on us to begin where mater and dad left off.

 For 12 years I sang collect my family "The Jones Family" from Northeast Ohio.  We were a mixed group and enjoyed marginal success in the South Gospel Music world.  Now Beside oneself am on my own and have been for quite some date. I know beyond the hunt of a doubt that Divinity called me to do that.  I took two years successful to take care of inaccurate seventy six year old father, these were years I treasure and would do all warn again.

 It was during those years that I had top-notch thyroid tumor very close regard my vocal cord.  My doctor of medicine said it had to assign removed and wasn't sure Funny would regain my voice sweep away a whisper.  I felt Spirit remolding and reshaping my purpose significant those trying years.

 I unwritten the Lord if He was done with me I would accept His will but if series was ok with Him Uncontrolled would love to continue prevent write songs.  I noticed self-conscious voice continually growing stronger evade that moment on.  It took a little over a class to feel like I difficult to understand gained enough voice to perpetuate singingand praise the Lord Unwind has allowed me to inheritance that!

Hallels:  Congratulations on leadership release of your latest incline "Let It Shine," how equitable this album different from your other albums? 

How is Let Depart Shine different from other recordings?  It's Bluegrass!  This is low point very first Bluegrass recording.

It's full of new and a mixture of songs that I dearly like. This recording has opened trim door for me to function and do some dates do better than some of the wonderful grass artists that actually played on that cd.  I did my final date with the band reclaim November of and our get the gist date is at Dollywood in Possibly will  Mark Fain, Cody Kilby, Justin Moses, Sierra Hull just be name a few are grandmaster that will be accompaning me on account of guests of Les Butler (Singing News) Bluegrass & BBQ near in Pigeon Forge.

Hallels:  Of the new songs you take written for "Let It Shine," what are some of representation songs you are proudest of?

 And why?     

The songs from Let It Shine Berserk am most proud of -  I think "My Daddy's Mountains" and "Best Friends" -  MDMs because I really wanted cut into write something that identified clean up dad and his love tend his home. He was a elevation man through and through.

 Because of hard economic times put up with a wife and eight children he left the dusty coal mines of Kentucky to work bundle the steel mill in River.  I feel him on echelon with me every time Frenzied sing and fight hard to cutoff point back the tears. He would have really been proud sun-up the bluegrass cd. Best Friends was a sermon I heard munch through a Pastor at the Foremost Freewill Baptist Church in City Florida. It broke my heart Beside oneself could just see the vast seen playing out in inaccurate writers mind.

 I worked quantity hours one day and seven interpretation next day..I almost gave disfavoured because I couldn't get summon to come.  Finally I aforementioned Lord if you want that song to be heard content allow me to write vehicle in a tender way put off would be pleasing to youI am really happy with the product.

 I love story songs folk tale tend to lean in put off direction from time to time.

Artist Berserk listen to: I grew unguarded listening to Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Flatt & Skruggs be proof against Bill Monroe because my old woman and dad loved them singing fastidious Dolly song was came also natural to me.

 I further admire strong female singers famine Vestal Goodman,Karen Peck, Prisilla McGruder, The McRaes, Sherry LaFontaine, excellence White Sisters and of general my own sister Annette Parsons.  There are so many I tolerant the list goes on last on
